Embracing My Challenges
A Journey of Health and Inspiration with LIFTwarrior.com
Last week we shared an interesting article “Enthusiasm & Endurance” where we focused on Enthusiasm and this week I was going to publish Endurance but my heart took me down a different path. Don't worry we will get back on track next week so expect the “Endurance” article then.
This week has been a remarkable journey filled with both challenges and triumphs. I faced some health issues that led to an uncomfortable breakthrough, while also experiencing the joy of being interviewed and published in a local magazine.
For quite some time, I struggled with swallowing food, as it would often get stuck in my esophagus, causing a painful burning sensation and even making me feel ill when it wouldn’t go down. Thankfully, the VA, which I truly admire and appreciate, has been there for me since my honorable discharge from the Marine Corps. I was diagnosed with a narrowing of the esophagus—something I hadn’t heard of before, but apparently, it’s quite common as we age, especially for those of us who have dealt with reflux for a long time. After undergoing a scope procedure to biopsy and gently stretch my esophagus, I can’t express how incredible it feels to eat normally again.I am taking the time here to thank my wife for being with me during all of this. She has been an incredible inspiration and light in our journey. This is her birthday month so please take the time and wish her a Happy Birthday, you can email her at lift@liftwarrior.com.
If you notice anything unusual with your body, please listen to those signals. Take care of yourself and seek medical attention without delay, as waiting can often make things worse. My recovery from the scope took about three days, but now I feel completely rejuvenated.
Amidst these personal challenges, I was thrilled to be featured in “VoyageATL” magazine this month. It was a wonderful opportunity to share our journey about our LIFTwarrior inspirational business. Sharing with the readers our journey and the motivations behind our work was a true honor, and I’m excited to highlight the positive impact we’re creating within the LIFTwarrior community. Be sure to check out the full interview here, The LIFTwarrior Story.
Next week we will cover “Endurance” and the value it has for each and every one of us in our beautiful journey.

Artemis Elefterie: Your story is so inspiring and motivates so many of us to never give up no matter the struggles we face. Your moto "be proactive, not reactive" also really resonated with me and aligned with my values! It's true that as long as we remain reactive and not proactive, we are essentially acting as objects and are unable to take control of our own lives, whereas when we are proactive, we operate from a decision-making state, seizing every opportunity that is presented to us and therefore manage to witness true and infinite success.
