The Value of Endurance

Two weeks ago we shared an interesting article “Enthusiasm & Endurance” where we focused on Enthusiasm and this week we are sharing with you “Endurance.”

You know the word but take a moment and think about the meaning and how it affects your day to day life?

Obviously it means that we need to keep going when times get tough but that is easier said than done in most cases.

Two weeks ago we discussed how important Enthusiasm is when chasing after our goals but now we are going to discuss Endurance and how it affects our lives.

In my own personal journey I was forced to endure challenges at a very young age, then I had to step it up a few notches when I became a US Marine. Boot Camp was no joke in any area but I will say I miss my beloved Corps and the comradery with my fellow Marines, especially now that I have been out for a bit. The challenges in the civilian world are so different than when I served, some are easier and some are harder but either way having the discipline has helped me get through them.

After thinking about this I know each and every one of us had to endure something challenging in our journey, especially in areas with our mental health, physical health, relationships and our finances and sometimes a few of these at the same time.

I realize when things are going smoothly for me at any period of time I’m either not pressing forward for a breakthrough or I have become complacent in my own journey. I also know that when we stay in a safe routine without change we can be harming ourselves with our mental health which can lead to a form of depression.

Don’t get me wrong there are those of us that love staying in the same routine with very little change, and there is nothing wrong with that and those that do usually thrive in the comfortable environment they have created for themselves. I’m reaching out to those that live a life of expectation of difference and Strive for Greatness, (Great Article).

Stepping into the unknown will lead you to success and opportunities but it will come with challenges and struggles where you will have to learn to apply yourself to adapt and overcome.

Renewing your mind by associating with positive people, Positive Mental Attitude books, articles, and being in a positive environment is something you must practice if you want to grow, succeed, and experience break through in your journey.

Endurance means not giving up when things get hard. It’s the ability to keep going even when you feel tired, stressed, or unsure about what to do.

It is about staying strong and not quitting, even when life gets tough. We all face hard times, but those moments help us grow and become better. When things feel uncomfortable, that’s usually where change and success begin.

Keep pushing forward, one step at a time, stay around positive people, and work on your mindset every day. If you don’t quit, you WILL GROW and you will get where you’re meant to be.

Artemis Elefterie: Your story is so inspiring and motivates so many of us to never give up no matter the struggles we face. Your moto "be proactive, not reactive" also really resonated with me and aligned with my values! It's true that as long as we remain reactive and not proactive, we are essentially acting as objects and are unable to take control of our own lives, whereas when we are proactive, we operate from a decision-making state, seizing every opportunity that is presented to us and therefore manage to witness true and infinite success.
